I always hated school because I had to do subjects I didn’t like.

Now i’ve started college on a Art&Design course and I was given the impression that in this course I could choose what I want to do and take it further - Not the case though, I’ve got to do a WHOLE year of experimenting & paying out for subjects I don’t want to take on, and to top it off, I HAVE to do printmaking & 3D (They’re like the maths and english of the art course, Everyone hates it but we’ve got to do it)

Most people on the course get ema, learning grants and all sorts of money to support the course, They get about £30 a week! Where as I get nothing because my parents earn to much, but they can’t suppost my college work and the family & household, which is fair enough. (I’ve tried geting grants and money, but the college wont budge, even with my situation, so i’ve resulted to not turning up to the lessons I can’t afford eg. photography)
By the way, I can’t get a job either because i babysit my sisters during out of college hours because we have a odd family situation.

So basicly i’m hating my course, I can’t afford my course, and I have no motivation to go there. I’m good at art, thats why i took the course in the first place and art is what I want to do but I only enjoy 2 subjects so far, and thats all I can afford also.

So what do I do? I’d love to just go work for somthing that does art and i’d be pretty motivated to do that, but the chances of me geting a job in that is pretty slim!
But please don’t say stick at it because otherwise I wont get a good job, because i’m only 16! I don’t expect to get a good job by the time I leave college
I live in the UK, 16 is the age we leave school :D
